Culinary
Culinary Training
Talented individuals with a passion for the culinary profession are in hight demand. Our culinary program prepares students for a successful career on board a ship. A combination of practical sessions and language lessons help students adjust. In the English stage of the program, students learn to communicate with guests. Also, students discuss interests with peers and work together to understand written Engish. To this end, they are able to interact while on the job.
Prep and cooking sessions cover basic meat science, soups and sauces, and much more. This stage introduces students to key ingredients and kitchenware. Information sessions address cooking methods and galley safety standards. What’s more, hands-on sessions cover basic food groups and proper storage and handling. Training also introduces students to recipes which use these standard cooking methods.
In this blended learning environment, we test knowledge before and after lessons. This tracks student progress and learning transfer. Also, our mobile application lets students practice their English skills on the go. In addition, certified language instructors and experienced professionals lead classroom and practical exercises. That is to say, students finish the program armed with hospitality know-how.

Once students complete the culinary program, we teach important interview skills. Topics cover body language, appropriate dress and grooming norms, and common interview questions. Also, students apply valuable resume tips. To conclude the two-day workshop, students take part in mock interviews. Then they get feedback from peers to hone their skills.
Housekeeping
8-week housekeeping program combining practical skills sessions with lessons on guest service and interaction. Students learn basic safety and public health information. Equally important, Lessons cover cleaning equipment, proper use, and guest service best practices.
Housekeeping Program
Our housekeeping program includes practical sessions and lessons that support English ability. In the English phase, students learn to interact with guests. Furthermore, students collaborate with peers to discuss interests and complete tasks. Instructors address pronunciation and sentence structure. As a result, daily language lessons improve speaking, reading, and writing skills. Of course, these skills are critical for success in the department.
Housekeeping personnel play a big role in the success of cruise ship operations. In fact, passenger safety and ship cleanliness are top priorities for cruise lines. Our students get detailed instructions on how to complete routine tasks. In turn, the quality and consistency of their work shows. Practical sessions focus on stateroom service, public health, use of chemicals, and more. Because housekeeping is a team effort, we prepare students in the areas of communication and work flow.

12-week food & beverage program outlining the essentials of handling and delivery. Students participate in restaurant and bar service interactions. Also, they are taught nutrition, sanitation and food safety, brand awareness, and sales techniques.
F&B SERVICE ESSENTIALS

This training is important for proper food and drink handling and delivery to guests. Students apply classroom knowledge to hands-on sessions. Sessions address sales and operations, interpersonal skills, and food production. In addition, we cover critical USPH and sanitation standards.
Our language instructors develop courses to improve communication and understanding. Thus, students learn hospitality and job-related English. In addition, professionals with cruise line experience conduct hands-on training. Individuals learn customer behavior and food and beverage service principles. In sum, this program yields hospitality professionals with knowledge of industry standards and procedures.
